Landmine (2008)
Landmine, part of the “Allspark Power” subline of 2007’s Transformers range, is unique in that it’s based on a fictional vehicle created especially for the Transformers feature film. Landmine—the toy—recreates all of the details and features of the film’s vehicle with remarkable authenticity. What with no licensing issues, it means Hasbro has a rare opportunity to go all out in making its toy version as accurate as possible. And it does!

Lander’s Pretender shell is literally just that: A hollow carapace within which a weirdly proportioned, spindly robot can be placed. Everything else has been scooped out to make space for the robot. You also get a helmet, a belt, a sword and a (non-firing) rifle. No change of clothes for a spontaneous weekend away to the seaside, however.
