Robots in Disguise

After more than five years of the hugely successful Beast Wars/Machines Transformers ranges, Hasbro made the choice to return to the more traditional "robots in disguise" formula.



Essentially a "filler" line, the entirety of this range consisted of moulds brought over from previous toylines such as The Transformers, Beast Wars, Machine Wars, Beast Machines and Transformers: Generation 2 and most substantially the previous year's Transformers Car Robots line from Japan.

Almost all of the Transformers from the Car Robots range were included in Robots in Disguise (with the heavily notable exception of Brave Maximus) with new/altered colour schemes and painted graphics.
