With a star voice cast (featuring Orson Welles, Leonard Nimoy, Eric Idle and others), fretted soundtrack and stunning animation, Transformers: The Movie was almost a real treat for boys aged 6-9 had it not corporately killed off and replaced the main Transformers cast.
