BLADES Blades, as with the other twenty three characters from 1986's Special Teams range, was introduced in Transformers UK's "Second Generation" storyline. His real-world appearance was some 40 issues away, but because Hasbro UK wanted the characters to be showcased there and then, Blades and his fellow cube-heads were thrust into the storyline via a clumsy dream sequence.

BROADSIDE In "Wrecking Havoc", a story in which the Wrecker's travel to Earth to deal with Galvatron, Broadside tried a bit of one-on-one combat with the Decepticon time-traveller himself. Sadly though, Broadside didn't fare very well and he was chucked into a building. Still, you've got to admire his ball-bearings, especially since he gets sea-sick and is scared of heights.
