Flattop relieves the boredom of his endless ocean missions by blowing up any and all ships that come near him. He prowls the oceans, sinking everything. His fellow Decepticons may be excited by this, but in truth Flattop is extremely dull. He has no real friends and no one is really all that interested in getting to know him. Flattop has secretly thought of joining the Autobots in case one might want to befriend him.

Abilities: Flattop can transform into a "F-4 Phantom II" jet, capable of reaching speeds of Mach 2. In this mode, his serrated wing-tips can cleave enemies into two. He possesses superior manoeuvrability in the air and his reinforced steel alloy fuselage is ideal for mid-air collisions. His aircraft carrier is armed with torpedo launchers equipped with heat-sensitive tracking devices. The carrier transformers into an interstellar jet, equipped with x-ray laser cannons.

Weaknesses: When on his lonely ocean missions, Flattop is left completely open to attack. Any reinforcements that would come to his aid would never make it in time.
