Abominus is the combined form of the five Terrorcons.

Abominus's one and only appearance in the Transformers comics was in issue 138’s back-up strip reprint of the American Headmasters mini-series. His sole contribution to the intergalactic Decepticon war effort was to walk through the Nebulan resort city of Splendora, knock over one tall building, say “Grraarr!!”, allow himself to be shot by Computron, say “Arrgghh!!” and then break apart into his component Terrorcon parts after letting himself be smashed in the waist by Computron.

And that was it; the poor soul was never used again. But that’s not to say his character wasn’t furnished with a fully developed arc. We saw his rise to power and fall from grace. It’s just a shame it happened in the space of three pages.
