Starscream is back for the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen feature film and so, then, is the toy based on the character. But this time around, those exceptional Transformers designers and engineers at Hasbro/TomyTakara have had two whole years to work on the toy version of Starscream.

In 1988 Hasbro released a sub-group of Mini-Autobots called the “Sparkabots”. At the same time, Marvel UK introduced the team as the “Sparkler Mini-Bots”. Something didn’t quite add up.

Demolishor takes on the form of one of the largest ground vehicles ever manufactured on planet Earth. Shame then, that the action figure version is worryingly small compared to the rest of the range of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen toys.

In 1986, Marvel UK published two hardcover “Complete Works” books that reprinted the first four issues of Marvel US’s Transformers. Only this time, that Autobot double-page spread was included… with one major difference: Yes, they replaced two entire panels!
